Pengaruh Overconfidence, Herding, Trait Anxiety, Trait Anger dan Self-monitoring terhadap Keputusan Investasi Saham BEI oleh Investor Batam

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengukur pengaruh overconfidence, herding, trait anxiety, trait anger, dan self-monitoring terhadap keputusan investasi. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari penyebaran kuesioner survei terhadap 200 responden. Objek yang digunakan adalah seluruh masyarakat di Kota Batam yang melakukan investasi saham. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Analis dan pengujian data melalui regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan overconfidene dan herding berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi saham. Sedangkan Trait anxiety, trait anger, dan self-monitoring tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and measure the influence of overconfidence, herding, trait anger, trait anxiety, and self-monitoring toward investment decisions. Types and data sources used are primary data collected from the distributions of survey questionnaires to 200 people. An object used for this research will be every citizen who has tried stock investment before and live at Batam. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling. Data analysis and testing through multiple linear regression tests with the help of the software program SPSS 26. The results of this research indicate that overconfidence and herding have a significant effect on investment decisions, while trait anger, trait anxiety, and self-monitoring have no significant effects on investment decisions.
