Peranan Kompensasi dan Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Peningkatan Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract


Kinerja karyawan dapat dioptimalkan jika pemimpin memiliki kemampuan untuk berani melakukan perubahan kearah yang lebih baik. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap sebagai agen perubahan di perusahaan. Begitu pula dengan kebijakan skema kompensasi yang adil dan objektif dianggap mampu membuat karyawan lebih produktif dan bekerja secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja. Jenis data penelitian menggunakan data kuantitatif, sedangkan sumber data adalah data primer yang berasal dari 35 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pemberian kompensasi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan perlu melakukan evaluasi terhadap skema pemberian kompensasi yang berbasis kinerja.

Abstract
Employee performance can be optimized if the leader has the ability to dare to make changes for the better. Transformational leadership style is considered as a change agent in the company. Likewise, a fair and objective compensation scheme policy is considered capable of making employees more productive and working optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and transformational leadership on performance. This type of research data uses quantitative data, while the data source is primary data from 35 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on employee performance and the provision of compensation had no effect on employee performance. This shows that companies need to evaluate performance-based compensation scheme.
