Pengaruh Motivasi dan Komitmen Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract


Secara objektif studi ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji bagaimana dampak dari motivasi kerja dan komitmen terhadap kinerja karyawan. Studi ini dilakukan pada PT. Semen Tonasa dengan melibatkan 93 orang responden. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan kemudian diolah dengan beberapa tahap. Pertama analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Kedua analisis linear berganda. Ketiga uji kualitas data yang terdiri dari uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Keempat uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji heterokedastisitas, dan uji multikolinearitas; Kelima uji hipotesis. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Semen Tonasa Pangkep. Hubungan motivasi dan kinerja mempunyai bentuk linear dalam arti dengan pemberian motivasi kerja yang baik, maka gairah kerja pegawai akan meningkat dan hasil kerja akan optimal sesuai dengan standar kinerja yang ditetapkan. Komitmen karyawan tidak akan tumbuh dengan sendirinya, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara komitmen dan kinerja, apabila komitmen organisasi baik yang tinggi atau yang rendah akan berdampak pada Karyawan, misalnya terhadap perkembangan kinerja dan karier karyawan organisasi dan bagi Organisasi, misalnya pimpinan yang berkomitmen tinggi pada organisasi akan menimbulkan kinerja organisasi yang tinggi, tingkat absensi berkurang, loyalitas karyawan dan sebagainya
