Diversitas Gender dalam Dewan Direksi dan Kinerja Innovasi Perusahaan

Abstract


Penelitian yang melihat dampak keberadaan perempuan dalam dewan direksi terhadap kinerja inovasi perusahaan masih sedikit di Indonesia, oleh karena itu penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh keragaman gender terhadap kinerja inovasi perusahaan. Variabel kontrol ditambahkan adalah pertumbuhan perusahaan dan profitabilitas. Profitabilitas diukur denga rasio laba terhadap total ekuitas dan pertumuhan perusahaan digambarkan dari perubahan aset perusahaan. Adapun kinerja inovasi diperoleh dari produk baru yang sedangkan dikembangkan atau diluncurkan ke pasar. Informasi ini diperoleh dari laporan tahunan yang diterbitkan oleh perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitin ini menggunakan perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2021 dan 2022. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa diversitas gender, profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja inovasi perusahaan. Secara parsial diversitas gender berpengaruh positif terhadap terhadap kinerja inovasi. Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja inovasi dan pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja inovasi.
