Efektivitas Petugas Reservasi pada Departemen Kantor Depan di Griya Hotel Medan
Abstract
This thesis aims to analyze the effectiveness of reservation staff at the front office department at Griya Hotel Medan. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with direct interviews with guests of the Medan Griya Hotel, field observations and documentation. Reservation is one part of the front office department at the hotel. Reservation is also known as a seller who makes an important decision to sell a room. Where reservations help hotels to earn revenue by selling rooms and other facilities through telephone bookings, emails, and travel agents. On the other hand, guest expectations will not be met. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the reservation clerk has an important role in the front office department. Reservation clerks can make it easy for guests to book rooms accurately by providing maximum service. With that, the reservation clerk can also speed up the process of ordering guest rooms without waiting long.
